It hasn't caught up with me yet that this is actually happening. I'm a normal girl from a small town who always bit off too much to chew. But here we are, five years out of High School and with my first feature film under my belt. It has been a tough two-and-a-half year journey, and if I told you it was all rose coloured skies I'd be lying. This film took sweat, tears, lots and lots and lots of problem solving, emails, late nights and Brisbane 40 degree summers.
Announcing it's release however, makes it all worth it. I did it so that you could enjoy two-and-a-half years of my life in 90 minutes. Hopefully, you also appreciate the themes of hope and overcoming that remind you to keep RISING!
